U3A Social Events Notices

Please be aware of two events coming up in December:

The first event is the next quiz on 1st December.
It will be held in St Mary’s Church Hall and will kick off at 7:30 pm.
There is a sheet in Sandbach library where you or your members can register a team name.
Each team should comprise six people and the cost of entry is £1 per person.
Teams should bring whatever food and drink will best stimulate the little grey cells on the night. Anyone who can’t find a team to take them will be accommodated if they turn up early at St Mary’s Church Hall.


The second event is on 31st December and this is the New Year’s Eve party in the Sandbach Masonic Hall.
Tickets (priced £20) are still available from the U3A desk in Sandbach Library on Tuesday mornings or directly from Jackie Timmins 01270 762157 or Maureen Joy 01270 757660.
